Advisory Board

The Advisory Board of the Global Management Institute was established to provide strategic direction and value added inputs into programme designs. The Advisory Board further helps to give unbiased guidance to the activities of the organisation through ensuring quality in our programmes and processes.

Dr Gregg Moore  
Dr Gregg Moore

Dr Moore brings extensive and impressive international experience spanning Information Technology, Architecture, Education and Research to GMI. He is a Masters graduate of the University of Western Australia and he also holds a Doctorate in Architecture from University of Cambridge. Dr Moore’s wide-ranging professional experience covers research and teaching through development management to quality management.

He has combined experience in the private sector through senior managerial roles in IT, in the Finance and Oil industries. He has experience in technical, research and advisory roles in computer graphics and animation and computer aided design. His public sector contributions have included various roles as a senior research associate, university lecturer, tutor and trainer in higher education and research and architectural work at Middlesex University, the New Zealand Ministry of Works Architects Department, the University of Cambridge and the University of Western Australia. Dr Moore holds professional membership at the Association of Computer Machinery (ACM), the Special Interest Group on Graphics of the ACM (SIGGRAPH), the IEEE Computer Society and the World Wide Institute of Software Architects.

   
Len Breen  

Len Breen brings immense value to the GMI board through his contributions to the academic development of the organisation. Len graduated as an Architect from the University of Melbourne and practised in Australia, Sri Lanka, Italy and the United Kingdom. He has added post-graduate studies in Economics (London University), Computer Science (Kingston University) and Fine Art (University of the Arts London) to his professional experience.

As well as many years' international experience as an architect, Len Breen has been a leading educationalist holding positions such as Course Director of the Centre for Advanced Studies in CAAD at Middlesex University and Subject Leader in Visual Communications at Brunel University. Len has been Chair of the British Chapters of ACM and ACM SIGGRAPH and also a member of the International Committee of ACM. He has delivered many innovative courses on Visual Communications and Information Architecture in education at post-graduate, tertiary and in the private sector in the UK. He has delivered lectures and seminars on subjects such as Information Architecture and Design and Innovation to professional and public bodies throughout the UK and Europe. Len has also contributed to the work of, for example, Amnesty International, through his art and design and his art can be found in a number of important public collections, including the Victoria and Albert Museum and the National Gallery of Australia.

   
Mohan Luthra  

Mohan Luthra brings to GMI invaluable experience in policy development and cirriculum design.Mohan has a wide-ranging cross sector exposure to public policy development as well as macro program delivery in education, health, and economic development in the private, government, academic and voluntary sectors. He has experience of macro multi project program management and large scale financial sponsorship. He is skilled in financial policy formulation, investment appraisal of national and international organisations and the economic and social development of cities and districts working through building partnerships. He has developed first class skills in the management of the HR cycle, organisational development and executive coaching. Additionally he has extensive professional experience in identifying opportunities and products for emerging markets for British companies and policy work on the role of markets in poverty reduction in an international context in addition to working in areas such as fair trade, economic regeneration, inclusion policies, client centred & consumer policy and customer focused organisations.

Mohan has invaluable experience in research and policy development. He has been a fellow at the Institute of Educational Research at Brunel University and Principal Lecturer at South Bank University. He has also served on two health care trusts in the UK. He currently works as an independent consultant involved in curriculum design and the modernisation of training programs; devising learning needs assessments and supervising PhD and MPhills candidates.
